Easy to transport
The Cobra™ machine weighs just 55 lbs. and fits easily into car trunks. A wooden transport case is available.

Cleaner emissions, lower vibrations, less noise

In 2010 and 2011 stricter regulations on exhaust emission for petrol-driven breakers came into force, both in the USA and in Europe. To further whet your appetite you'll be happy to hear that all Cobra models are already fully compliant with the new, stricter limits issued by the EPA for the US market and by the EU for the European market.*

Cobra breakers have very good vibration values. For example, improvements to the Cobra Combi have resulted in reducing vibration levels even further in comparison with the previous model. To help you compare, 3-axis vibration values are available, measured according to the ISO 20643 standard.

As operator comfort is a number one priority, a redesigned noise reduction system keeps the noise levels within set limits.

The tie tamper with an appetite for work

The Cobra™ TT has been specially designed for tie tamping. It works at the relatively high frequency of 1,620 blows/minute, and the impact energy has been optimized to prevent pulverization of ballast.

Leaf springs to keep you refreshed - The first time you use a Cobra™ TT you'll be surprised by the low vibration levels. This is thanks to a unique, patented vibro-dampening system that consists of leaf springs instead of the usual rubber bushings or spiral springs.

Drive-thru tamping - A petrol-driven breaker is ideal for tie tamping since you don't have to worry about compressors, hoses, or cables. And weighing just 55 lbs., it can be carried on and off track quickly and easily by a single operator. By allowing for fast interventions the Cobra™ TT reduces the need for closing tracks.


Hand and arm protection Atlas Copco's unique Hand and Arm Protection System (HAPS) reduces the negative effects of harmful vibrations at a given trigger time.		Audio Warning Device - AWD AWD Cobra TT AWD is compatible with AWD systems. An AWD system is designed to set off a siren and stop all breakers connected to the system when the lookout releases a switch on the approach of a train.		Vibro-reduction The patented vibration-dampening system features leaf springs rather than rubber bushings or spiral springs.

Cobra™ Combi is not only a breaker with a sting, it also doubles as a powerful drill. This multipurpose machine can drill up to 12 inches per minute in solid granite and to depths of up to 6 1/2 feet thanks to its built-in flushing device.

The Cobra™ Combi is great for those light service jobs or working in remote locations. It comes with its own carrying case, which fits easily into the trunk of a car.

With a range of many different working tools you can use Cobra™ Combi for everything from breaking and drilling, to cutting, driving, and compacting. Function selector Move the selector downward for drilling. This will engage rotation and air flushing. For breaking, just move it upward.		An easy starter with an electronic ignition, redesigned tank cap, and choke the Cobra Combi is simple to start in all weather. An optional guide roller makes it easy to pull downward to start the machine when it is placed higher up than the operator.		Long lifetime The high capacity air filter and new filter compensation feature give a longer lifetime. The filter is easy to access for fast servicing.

Accessories Tool points Atlas Copco working tools are manufactured from a steel that is purpose-designed and specified for breaker applications. A controlled heat treatment process imparts both strength and high wear resistance to deep surface layers while maintaining a tough shock-resistant central core to resist breakage.
