Bet they cost an arm and a leg!

No. In fact for many construction and rental companies, there are major cost advantages. For instance, for the price of one compressor/breaker combination you can purchase two complete hydraulic power pack/breaker packages.

This power pack sure looks portable!

Exactly. Why tow a large compressor to the site if you don't need to? This hydraulic power pack couldn't be more convenient. For site-to-site transportation, two people can lift it into a truck. On-site this power pack can easily be wheeled around by one person.

These hydraulic power packs are available in gasoline, diesel, or electrically driven versions and provide portable power for a long list of applications in the 5-10 gpm/2000-2500 psi range.

How are they to operate?

Couldn't be simpler. The thermostatically controlled oil cooler gives fast warm-up and helps prevent the hydraulic oil from overheating. Correct working temperature is achieved within minutes -- even during the winter. The variable flow on/off valve enables simple tool change and slow start up. A gauge shows when it's time to change the filter.

What about fuel consumption?

Many of the power packs are equipped with Power on Demand. This system automatically idles the engine when the tool is not being used and speeds it up when the tool is activated. It saves fuel and keeps noise to a minimum.

Quick couplings

Hoses are fitted with flat-face HTMA quick release couplings for fast and easy connections in all work situations. The couplings are designed to help keep hydraulic systems clean on work sites where there are large amounts of dust and dirt.

BRK 25 D - A powerful horizontal pick hammer

Get a grip on horizontal tasks! With an impact energy of 18 foot pounds and giving 2,400 blows/min., the BRK 25 D D-handle hammer is the powerful choice for horizontal work in renovation, demolition, and structural alteration. The detachable front handle, available as an optional extra, pivots 360° for optimal positioning.

BRK 40 - Lightweight, multi-purpose breakers

The perfect choice for indoor and outdoor renovation and demolition jobs, BRK 40 breakers have an impact energy of 48 foot pounds at 1,600 blows/min. Brickwork, frozen soil, asphalt, and concrete are no match for these tough, lightweight breakers. Frequently chosen by contractors and rentals, BRK 40 breakers are also effective for tamping and compaction and are used by railroad companies for tie tamping applications.

BRK 55 - Medium weight, multi-purpose breakers

A favorite with rental companies, BRK 55 breakers are the ideal choice for road building and maintenance applications. Whether it's asphalt, brickwork, frozen soil, or concrete, the BRK 55 gives you reliable performance. Can be used with both 8 gpm and 5 gpm power packs.

BRK 70 - Heavy-duty, multipurpose breakers

Get the job done, fast! BRK 70 breakers are ideal for heavier jobs in tough materials such as asphalt, frozen soil, and reinforced concrete. They work at a standard flow of 8 gpm and at 5 gpm with a simple adjustment.

BRK 95 - Super heavy-duty breakers

Handheld breakers don't get much more powerful than this. With an impact energy of 103 foot pounds and an impact rate of 1,275 blows/min., in some situations the BRK 95 can even replace small excavators with breaker attachments. Ideal for breaking heavy asphalt, reinforced concrete, and foundations, these powerful machines are the rugged choice for utility construction, street maintenance, repair of water and gas lines, and general construction jobs.

Hydraulic saws and drills -- perfect working partners

Cut-off saws - You name it, these cut-off saws will cut it

They may be light and compact, but don't be fooled. A hydraulic cut-off saw with the right blade will cut through concrete, asphalt, and steel. With our 16-inch saw at full throttle you have the raw power of a gasoline-powered engine in your hand.

The open cutting face makes the this cut-off saw easy to use, even under the most demanding conditions. The simple, direct drive configuration reduces maintenance, especially in comparison with belt-driven saws.

A water kit is available to provide a supply of cooling water where needed.

Core drills - Ideal for working in confined areas

Take a hydraulic core drill with you when installing drainage, sewer and water pipes, or cable and ventilation ducts where large, deep holes are needed. These core drills are well suited for drilling concrete, masonry, and asphalt materials. They can be operated freehand or mounted in a drill stand.

Hydraulic control of the drill torque helps to reduce kickback when drill bits jam. So you're in control, even when drilling holes of 8 inch in diameter and above. Due to the compact design of this core drill, you can easily drill holes of up to 8 inch freehand.

Water kit

Diamond blades and core bits need a constant supply of water to cool, flush away slurry, and suppress dust. On remote sites where there is no water supply, we recommend this water kit, a small pressurized water container.

It takes more than stones and debris to stop this submersible pump!

Submersible pumps - These tools are really tough

These hydraulic submersibles are a range of rugged pumps for continuous pumping of water on building sites, in flooded excavations and cellars, and similar situations. Performance is impressive in relation to size and weight.

The 2 inch pump handles dirty water containing small stones and debris up to 10 mm. The 3 inch submersible trash pump can handle rocks of up to 2 1/2 inch diameter!

Cooled and lubricated by the hydraulic oil, they can be left to run dry without damage.

Accessories -- for your hydraulic tools

Oil flow divider

Reduces flow and pressure, allowing you to run tools from hydraulic-powered carriers. Use an extension hose to connect the oil flow divider to the tool.

Extension hoses

Add one or two 23 ft. extension hoses and you can use up to 69 ft. of hose without significant drop in pressure. The hoses are fitted with flat-face, quick release couplings.
