Drill Pipe Float Valves
Keep the fluids where they belong, not backed up into your drill string by using either plunger style float valves or gate valves.
Construction – The cages are made from hi-tech alloys. Coated with Xylan® – the most successful fluoropolymer coating in the world that dramatically reduces corrosion and erosion.
Float Valve Installation – These float valves are easy to install. Simply lubricate the side seal rubbers and slide the float valve into the cavity of the recess of the float sub or drilled out drill collar.
Caution: Fill drill pipe regularly when going in the hole. Failure to do so can cause damage to the drill pipe and/or the float valves.

Model “F”
Plunger-Type Valve
The Model F plunger-type valve offers positive and instant shut-off. In normal drilling operations the Model F offers economy and durability.
The piston stops flow-back when making connections and keeps cuttings out of the drill string.

Model “FA”
Ported Plunger-Type Valve
The Model FA offers all of the standard features of the Model F float valve, with the added feature of a ported piston, which allows a fluid path through the center of the valve.
This feature allows for an automatic partial filling of the drill pipe during run in.
Sizes: 1R, 1F2R, 2F3R 3F, 3 1/2IF, 4R, 4F, 5R, 5F6R
Model “FBP”
Integral Baffle Plate Valve
The Model FBP also offers all of the standard features of the Model F float valve, with the added feature of an integral baffle plate at the top of the float valve that is both heavy duty and shatterproof. For operations where a baffle plate is always used for instrumentation or fluid control, the integral baffle plate configuration offers an economical option.
Sizes: 3 1/2 IF, 4R, an 5F6R.
Model “G”
Full Flow Flapper-Type Valve
The Model G flapper-type valve features an investment cast flapper that is quick opening, allowing for full flow through the valve.
The Model G is designed for highly abrasive drilling fluids.

Model “GA”
Flapper Full Flow Ported with Carbide Orifice
The Model GA is identical to the Model G, except for a carbide orifice that makes the flapper ported.
The Model GA flapper allows for differential pressure readings at the surface.

Model “GC”
Flapper Full Flow Automatic Fill
The Model GC is identical to the Model G, but adds on an automatic fill feature when going in the hole.
The Model GC helps prevent pressure surges that could cause formation breakdown.
